MEMORY: An Evening of Dance
Combining devised theatre with dance/movement; Michael gathered close friend's and colleagues to create in depth, personal pieces that reflected the idea of how memory's can affect the human experience. Memories are what remains when an experience is completed. They exist to help us reproduce and recall the lessons we have learned. MEMORY was a 3-day event, and was produced August of 2022
Little Boy Blue
Written, directed, and choreographed by Michael C. Flores, Little Boy Blue is a teen LGBT coming out story told through traditional theatre, dance and song. Set in the modern-day American South, Little Blue’s journey of coming out, falling in love, and experiencing heartbreak comes to life on stage through the talents of local dancers and pop music (ranging from Melanie Martinez to Tears for Fears)
Come along on Little Blue’s journey as we watch him grow and learn, leaving the audience with a new understanding of empathy, forgiveness, and compassion. Little Boy Blue was produced March, 2018
